North Park University Athletics

The WMS Boathouse at Clark Park, located at 3400 N. Rockwell Ave. in Chicago is the new home for the North Park women's rowing team.

Total construction costs of the new boat house were just a little under $9 million, with NPU donating $1 million to the cost. The new facility is roughly 22,620 square feet of a rowing facility that houses rowing tank space, an ergometer work out space that accommodates 36 'ergs' (rowing machines), a community room, main office and restrooms equipped with shower facilities.

Recently, WMS Boathouse was selected by the American Institute of Architects as one of 18 recipients of the 2016 Honor Awards.
