RIVER FALLS, Wis. -- The North Park Women's Volleyball team finally saw a defeat in their 2025 season on Saturday. The Vikings fell to Nebraska Wesleyan in four sets before forcing Simpson to five in another loss.
Senior outside hitter middle Shamyia Collier provided the biggest moments for North Park, powering her way to 25 kills (2.78 per set) and a .270 hitting percentages across two matches. She added 4 aces to help NPU's point totals. Junior setter Kendal Britton also added 8 aces, including 6 against Simpson, tying for fourth-most in a five-set match at North Park. The Vikings had 15 aces in that loss, ninth-most in five-set history at NPU.
Aviles led the defense with 32 digs while senior middle blocker Kharlie Simeona-French had 27 on the day. Junior middle blocker Meg Rothermel was in on six blocks and now enters North Park's all-time top-10 ranks with 126 assisted blocks in her career.

North Park (6-2) finally gets to play a match on its home court, hosting their annual Windy City Invite this coming Friday and Saturday, Sept. 12-13. The Vikings open with Kalamazoo College (4-2) on Friday, with first serve set for 11:00 AM CT inside Carlson Gymnasium.
