DUBUQUE, Iowa, -- The #9 Loras College Duhawks (0-0-1, 0-0) hosted the Vikings in Dubuque, Iowa tonight in an early season matchup. North Park (1-2, 0-0) is coming off a loss to Dominican University while Loras ended their first game in a tie against the College of St. Scholastica.
North Park struggled early to maintain control of the ball and stream together consecutive passes to one another as Loras' aggression was apparent from the start of the match. In the 24rd minute, off a throw in from the right side of the field, Kaitlin Glenn of the Duhawks headed the ball up to her teammate Emerson Gasmann who then headed the ball into the net over Vikings' senior keeper Paige MacRitchie's outstretched hands, taking an early 1-0 lead.

North Park was shutout in virtually every stat from an offensive standpoint, seeing no shot, corner, or free kick opportunities
Loras would go on to win the match 3-0 after scoring their third goal in the 81st minute, as the Vikings only attained one shot from freshman defender Tilda Karlsson being on goal.
