NAPERVILLE, Ill. -- Following a stellar four-win start to the 2025 season, two members of the North Park University women's volleyball team earned College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Player of the Week honors on Tuesday afternoon. Junior setter Kendal Britton and senior outside hitter Annaliese Rottman were named Setter and Hitter of the Week, respectively.

Britton delivered a standout performance at the Great Lakes Crossover, recording 146 assists across 13 sets. The Grand Rapids, Michigan native set a career high with 47 assists in the Vikings' season-opening match against Wooster and averaged 11.23 assists per set over four matches. She posted 35 or more assists in three of the four matches and contributed six service aces with at least one in each match. Britton also notched a double-double against Wooster with 47 assists and 11 digs, and added five blocks across four matches, including three against Muskingum. This marks her second career Setter of the Week honor, having previously received the award in September 2024.

Rottman also had a career-best weekend, highlighted by a new collegiate total of 22 kills against Wooster. The Okemos, Michigan native hit .245 across four matches, totaling 52 kills with only 17 errors in 143 attempts. She contributed two blocks against Wooster and recorded double-digit kills in three of the four matches. Rottman hit .327 in the opener, drawing significant attention with 52 total attempts. This is her first career CCIW weekly honor.
