CHICAGO, Ill. -- North Park Men's Soccer has claimed one third of the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin's (CCIW) weekly awards this season, as Vidar Rydell was named the Offensive Player of the Week on Tuesday morning.

Rydell, a senior midfielder from Varberg, Sweden, led North Park to two more wins last week when the Vikings earned a 3-1 win over Trine before a 2-0 shutout win at MSOE. Rydell tallied two of North Park's three goals against Trine before assisting on a goal at MSOE. He logged 81 minutes of field time in that win over MSOE to preserve the Vikings' second shutout of 2025.

Rydell is the Vikings' points leader (7) and his 3 assists are also the top mark for the Blue & Gold. He's put 5 shots on frame this season and found the back of the net twice.

Rydell and company are heading to St. Louis to take on the WashU Bears (4-1) for a Tuesday afternoon match, set to start at 4:00 PM CT.
