NAPERVILLE, Ill. -- For the seventh season in a row, North Park Men's Soccer is the predicted favorite to grab a College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) title, as the league announced the Preseason Coaches' Poll on Wednesday afternoon.
The Vikings were at the top of eight ballots, earning the maximum possible point total of 64. North Park went 13-3-5 overall last season, finishing second in the CCIW regular-season standings and advancing to the championship match of the league tournament. The Vikings received an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament, their fifth trip to the national tournament since 2017.
A full look into the 2025 season will be available via the preseason press release early next week. The Vikings will play the first intercollegiate game of the school year for NPU Athletics next Friday, Aug. 29, at home against the University of Dubuque. Kickoff is set for 5:00 PM CT.
