CHICAGO, Ill. -- North Park Men's Volleyball enjoyed their first sweeping win of the 2025 season, securing the home victory over the University of Olivet in three sets (25-14, 25-19, 25-23) on Saturday afternoon.
The Vikings played one of their best matches of the season against the Comets (2-9), hitting .400, ,360, .263 to total a season high .330. North Park's 41 digs this afternoon rank eighth in NPU history.
North Park's opening set was led by a pair of seniors - middle blocker Sam Robinson and outside hitter Ty Ingrao both had four kills and respective attacking percentages of .600 and .800. Ingrao also boasted three aces in the set, as 15 digs for the NPU defense helped hold Olivet to just a .107 hitting percentage.
Set two featured three more kills from Robinson and Ingrao, but sophomore outside hitter Gerald Malana would lead all hitters with four kills.

The Comets defense improved in this set, managing four team blocks including a solo by Amarion Lawson, but North Park still cruised in a 25-19 win.
North Park finished set three thanks to an unbelievable performance by Ingrao. The 2023 All-CCIW pick had nine kills on 17 attempts in just one set, hitting .353 to lead NPU to the sweep. Fifth-year setter Teddy Gedville set up eight of those kills while Robinson added a solo and assisted block.
