GREENWOOD, Ind. -- The College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced the selections for the Academic All-District Teams for both Men's and Women's Soccer on Tuesday morning. 

For the Viking men, Eduardo Cirilo, Hugo Neborg, Vidar Rydell, Mathias Soerum, and Christian Vaaland secured the honors while the women saw honorees in Maja Applequist, Isabellah Avila, Hannah Björkegren, Stine Lie, Julia Önnerheim, and Caroline Sjøstedt.

The CSC Academic All-District Team recognizes student-athletes for excellence both in the classroom and on the field. In order to qualify for the prestigious honor, student-athletes must carry a minimum 3.50 grade point average and appear in at least 90 percent of the team's matches or start in 66 percent of them.

Additionally, Björkegren, Neborg, Sjøstedt, and Vaaland have been selected for All-American consideration, to be decided by CSC members in December.
