CHICAGO, Ill. -- The Illinois Tech Scarlet Hawks are set to host  the North Park Vikings in an early-season non-conference clash. 

Illinois Tech (1-3) comes into the matchup following a competitive outing against Lakeland, where the Scarlet Hawks fell 73-61. Leading the way for Illinois Tech is Chloe Churilla, who averages 12 points and 7 rebounds per game. Camden Joko has also been a key contributor, adding perimeter scoring with 10.3 points per game over her last three contests. As a team, the Scarlet Hawks are averaging around 60 points per game while pulling down nearly 39 rebounds.

North Park (0-3) enters the game still searching for its first win of the season. The Vikings most recently fell to Manchester, 68-57, despite a standout performance from senior guard Kathryn Keehn, who scored 21 points on 8-of-12 shooting for a career high. Junior guard Aliyah Hershberger and junior forward Caroline Long have been the team's top scorers so far, each averaging 13 points per game. Long also leads the rebounding effort with 9 boards per contest, helping North Park stay competitive on the glass. The Vikings are averaging 47.5 points per game while shooting 27.7 percent from the field and 27.8 percent from three-point range.
