HANOVER PARK, Ill. -- North Park Women's Tennis concluded their 2025 season at Centre Court in Hanover Park with a 6-1 loss to the Wheaton Thunder on Saturday afternoon. The Vikings' lone singles win arrived from Alexandra Pugachova, who enjoyed her eighth singles win of the fall season.

Pugachova's win over Wheaton's #1 singles player represented the only set won by five or more games over the Thunder's top player since April 2025. Pugachova took the victory with scores of 6-1, 6-2.

Pugachova and duos partner Thea Gifvars claimed a doubles victory in the second position, earning the 7-6 decision for their sixth win together in Fall 2025.

Pugachova takes the fall crown as the Vikings' top singles player with eight wins while Katja Carlberg was one win behind with seven. North Park went 4-6 in the fall season with a 3-5 tilt in conference action and will return to play in March 2026.
