NAPERVILLE, Ill. – North Park Softball had a pair of players honored with all-conference recognition by the CCIW on Wednesday afternoon. Sophomore shortstop Kayla Lorenz received a first team nod while sophomore outfielder Eden Baker garnered second team recognition.

Lorenz is back on the All-CCIW team after receiving second team accolades in her 2023 freshman season. Lorenz led the Vikings in a variety of categories at the plate, including batting average (.385), OPS (1.057), doubles 5) and RBI (11). She scored five runs, tripled twice, and struck out just four times against league competition.

Baker also grabbed the second all-conference nod of her career as she was also a second team honoree by the league in her 2023 freshman year. Baker hit .286 with seven runs scored, 14 hits, and three triples in CCIW games. She also picked up a pair of wins in the circle, leading the Vikings with a .267 BAA.

Additionally, sophomore outfielder Kayla Sapolu was North Park's representative for the CCIW's RESPECT Award.
