MILWAUKEE, Wis. -- North Park Tennis made quick work of the Milwaukee School of Engineering Raiders on Monday afternoon, securing an 8-1 win in their final match of the regular season.

North Park took home five singles wins, all in dominant fashion. Alexandra Ristfeldt dropped just one set with 6-0, 6-1 wins at #1 while #3 singles player Carla Cazes. #4 Maddie Starr, and #6 Kate Vinson followed suit with nearly perfect play as well; all dropping just one set. In the #2 position, Katarina Carlberg earned a 6-1, 6-3 singles win over Gabriella Haensgen and carried that momentum into her doubles play.

North Park swept through its doubles action in Milwaukee. #1 duo of Ristfeldt and Carlberg went 8-1 and #2 doubles of Starr and Hanna Zethraeus showcased a shutout at 8-0. Vinson and Ella Darrow won in the more competitive #3 doubles match, 8-5.

North Park concludes the regular season with a 14-5 record, by far the best full-season finish in program history, The work isn't done yet, though, as the Vikings look forward to the CCIW Tournament coming up later this week. On the campus of host site Illinois Wesleyan University, North Park, the three seed in the tourney, will take on six-seeded Carroll University this coming Thursday, April 25, at 4:30 PM.
