CHICAGO, Ill. – North Park Women's Tennis celebrated senior Carla Cazes on Saturday afternoon with a 7-2 win over a strong UW-Oshkosh team that had previously won seven of its last eight matches and four in a row before facing the Vikings.
All five of the singles victories for North Park weren't close, as the Vikings dominated in #1-#5. Hanna Zethraeus won 6-2, 6-1 at first singles while Alexandra Ristfeldt had the most emphatic showing with sweeping 6-0 victories. #3 singles Katarina Carlberg nearly duplicated that showing with a 6-1, 6-0 win while Carla Cazes won her singles match 6-2, 6-1. Maddie Starr rounded out the singles play wins for North Park with 6-1 wins.
In doubles play, Zethraeus and Cazes played a competitive match against UWO's #1 and #2 players Pattee and Pethan, earning an 8-6 win. Ristfeldt and Carlberg continued their dominance from singles momentum with an 8-0 rout of their opposition at #2 doubles while the #3 doubles team of Ella Darrow and Starr had a near loss of 8-6.

North Park (13-5) finishes the regular season at MSOE next Monday, April 22, before looking to the CCIW Tournament next Thursday, April 25. North Park, the 3-seed in the tourney, will face 6-seed Carroll at 4:30 PM on the campus of Illinois Wesleyan University.
