CHICAGO, Ill. -- North Park women's tennis secured a quality bounce-back win against a formidable foe in Lake Forest College on Wednesday afternoon. The Vikings beat the Foresters, who are 16-5 this season, by a score of 6-3 on the River Park Tennis Courts.

The Vikings secured four of six singles wins. Each match was competitive. Hanna Zethraeus won at #1 singles 6-4, 6-3 while #2 singles Alexandra Ristfeldt also won 6-2, 7-6. Katarina Carlberg posted 6-4 set victories at #4 singles while Maddie Starr represented the final singles win 7-5, 6-2. In a match that went past sundown, Ella Darrow went three sets with LFC's Anika Kinnear. Darrow took set one, 7-5, before dropping the next two sets 6-4 and 7-2.

North Park #1 and #2 doubles made quick work of the Forester duos. Zethraeus and Cazes won, 8-3, while Carlberg and Ristfeldt boatraced their opposition, 8-1.

North Park (12-5) has one final home match this coming Saturday, April 20, against UW-Oshkosh. First serve is set for 2:00 PM at River Park Courts.
