NAPERVILLE, III. - After securing victories in four-straight matches of a 48-hour window, Carla Cazes was named the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Women's Tennis Player of the Week on Tuesday afternoon.

Cazes, a senior from Marseillan, France, won twice in doubles competition against Wisconsin Lutheran and Concordia Wisconsin this past weekend. Cazes and doubles partner Hanna Zethraeus earned a victory on Friday over the Warriors, securing an 8-0 win over WLC doubles Sky Pope and Izzy Hawley. The duo also won on Saturday against Mallory Moen and Sofia Buhr of Concordia (Wl), 8-1.

In singles matches, Cazes took home a pair. In the #3 singles slots Saturday against Luther, she toppled Montserrat Ramirez in straight sets, 6-1, 6-4. She also earned a win over CUW's Moen on Saturday at #4 singles, 6-2, 3-6, 10-4.
