BLOOMINGTON, Ill. -- North Park Tennis dropped a College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Quarterfinals match at Evergreen Racquet Club on Thursday afternoon. The Vikings fell 4-0 to the Carthage Firebirds, concluding their 2026 season.
Alexandra Pugachova was on her way to a likely win in the #1 singles position after enjoying a 6-1 win over her opponent before the time limit was reached. Thea Gifvars also enjoyed a 6-4 win in the first set at the fourth position before the match was called.
The Vikings finish the spring season with a 3-7 record and look to rest and regroup before preparing for the 2026 fall season.
