CHICAGO, Ill. – North Park men's volleyball fell in straight sets to Augustana College on Saturday afternoon.
Augustana controlled the first set in near flawless fashion, attacking at a .500 clip with a dozen kills and two errors. North Park struggled, suffering eight errors in the opener.
Augustana's front line showcased quality defense with nine blocks while digging out 25 NPU attacks on the back line. Augie's Sean Carlson led the way with three blocks while Benjamin Schultz and Zach Moreano each added two.
North Park's junior outside hitters Ty Ingrao and Vicente Cabrera each had eight kills while senior setter Teddy Gedville had 21 assists.

North Park (4-14, 0-4 CCIW) will play at No. 10-ranked Carthage College next Wednesday, March 13. First serve at Tarble Arena is 7:00 PM.
