NAPERVILLE, Ill. – For the second time in as many seasons with the North Park men's basketball program, junior guard Kolden Vanlandingham was named a first-team All-College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) selection, as the league announced the 2023-2024 team Monday afternoon.
After earning unanimous first-team honors in 2022-23, his first season at North Park, Vanlandingham held up to being the team's go-to scorer in consecutive seasons. This year, in CCIW action, Vanlandingham was second in scoring (17.4 ppg, 261 pts), 20th in rebounding (4.7 rpg), 5th in three pointers made per game (2.1), 7th in FT% (77.8), 23rd in assists (26), and 7th in steals (21).

In 11 different league games, Vanlandingham posted a double-digit scoring total, including seven games with 20-or-more points. He established a new career high with 38 points against Carthage on Jan. 3, adding a season high four steals alongside six rebounds.

Senior forward Kenton Lei was also North Park's representative for the CCIW's RESPECT Award.
The CCIW RESPECT award is presented at the conclusion of every sports season with each varsity program recognizing one student-athlete.
