CHICAGO, Ill. -- North Park Men's Soccer continues to develop players to national recognition, as junior defender Hugo Neborg was named a Third Team All-American by the United Soccer Coaches on Friday morning. Neborg was the only men's player from the CCIW to earn All-American status.

Neborg played a role in 10 Viking shutouts this season, captaining a Viking defense that proved to be one of the best in Division III soccer. He led the team with nine assists, including setting up scores in four of the last five games of the season. Neborg scored twice and put eight shots on target.

Neborg is a two-time All-Region VIII pick and a two-time First Team All-CCIW selection. Additionally, he is a qualifier to earn All-American honors for his academics, hoping to earn CSC All-American honors this winter.
