CHICAGO, Ill. -- Senior outside hitter Adriana Rodriguez continued to etch her name into the North Park Women's Volleyball Record Book on Wednesday night, passing Shelby Switzer (C '13) as the Vikings' all-time points leader. Rodriguez broke Switzer's record of 1,934 in tonight's 3-0 sweep of Wheaton, bringing her career total to 1,948.
It was all North Park all the way in tonight's streak-snapping win. The Vikings hit .358 with 41 kills in their bounce-back win over the Thunder. That .358 attacking percentage is the best the Vikings have hit all season.
A significant reason for North Park's win on Wednesday leaned on its service game, which resulted in 18 aces, just one-shy of tying an all-time record for a three-set match. Five of those aces arrived off the hand of junior outside hitter Annaliese Rottman, tying a career high.

Senior setter Mary Kate Giesen also set a career high with four aces while junior libero Carolina Aviles was one short of tying a career high, also totaling four aces. Giesen added one more new career mark with three blocks.
Rodriguez and Rottman reached double-digit kills totals of 16 and 11, respectively, set up by 32 assists from Giesen.
