CHICAGO, Ill. -- The North Park women's basketball team tipped off against the Augustana Vikings at home Saturday afternoon. Augustana came out on top with a final score of Augie 61, North Park 52.
Augustana's 39% from the field was enough to take down North Park who shot 31.1% on the night. Despite the challenging shooting night, Augustana dominated in the paint, racking up 26 points compared to North Park's 14.
The game favored Augustana in key areas, notably in points off turnovers where they doubled North Park's tally, 20 to 10. Augie stayed resilient and outscored North Park on second-chance points, 17 to 10.
