NAPERVILLE, Ill. -- After scoring twice against Benedictine in North Park's season opener in Chicago, sophomore forward Michal Dejworek earned the first College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Offensive Player of the Week honor, as the league announced Tuesday.
Dejworek (Crystal Lake, IL / Crystal Lake South) powered the Vikings to a season-opening, shutout win over Benedictine last Friday. The North Park forward scored in the 15th and 56th minutes off of assists from Tim Sjöström Christian Vaaland, respectively, to lead the Vikings to their first win of the season.

The first goal of the season was a blistering 20-yarder, tucking inside the right post and setting the tone early. He finished with a second-half goal and contributed to the Eagles only sending one shot on goal all night.
