DE PERE, Wis. -- The North Park women's tennis team dropped a close 5-4 match to St. Norbert at the Green Bay Tennis Center on Friday afternoon.
North Park's #1 doubles of Hanna Zethreus and Teodora Kraljevic chalked up an 8-2 win before #2 and #3 doubles fell 6-8 and 4-8, respectively.
In singles, #1 Zethreus earned 6-0 and 6-2 wins while Kraljevic swept through her opponent at #2 singles, 6-0, 6-0. Additionally, Olivia De Luca won 7-5 and 6-1 in #4 singles. The close competition came down to the final match.  North Park was tied with St. Norbert at 4 wins a piece, with only #3 singles left to play.  Kate Vinson lost the first set 2-6 and things did not look good.  But a strong turn around from Vinson in the second set, forced the match to a third set tiebreaker. However, the Vikings fell short in the 5-4 match to the Green Knights.
