CHICAGO, Ill. -- The North Park women's basketball tipped off against the 12th-ranked University of Chicago this Wednesday night, dropping the contest 90-57.
The night started off strong with both teams showing off their offensive production with the first quarter ending in a score of 21-22 in favor of U Chicago. The Vikings had a higher field goal percentage (53.8% vs 50%) and three-point percentage (62.5% vs 50%) than U Chicago.
The second quarter was coming up all Maroon with U Chicago outscoring the Vikings 22-8. North Park was unable to bounce back and was outscored in the next two quarters 28-24 and 18-14.
