PLATTEVILLE, Wis. -- The North Park women's soccer team dropped their final non-conference matchup of the season on Sunday against UW-Platteville, 1-0.
Once more, the North Park defense showcased well in the first half, allowing only four total shots while firing seven of their own. Four shots for the Vikings were sent on frame, saved by Platteville's keeper.
The lone tally of the night was a beautiful 28-yarder off the foot Alyssa Peterson, sneaking just inside the upper left 90 for a 48th minute score.
North Park put three shots on frame in the second half, but could not find the equalizer. Morgan Wehseler led the charge with three shots on goal while Stella Alvstad followed with two.

North Park (1-5-5, 0-1-2 CCIW) will face North Central College in Naperville this coming Wednesday, October 11. Kickoff is set for 7:00 PM.
