NAPERVILLE, Ill. -- North Park's women's soccer team falls to 1-6-5 on the season and 0-2-2 in league play as they lost to conference foe and 23rd-ranked North Central College, 3-0, on a rainy Wednesday night. The Cardinals maintained a majority of the possessions and dominated the shot totals over the Vikings, 19-2, with 10 of those 19 being shots on goal. Both of North Park's shots were on goal, as well. The corner kick totals were 9-0 in favor of the Cardinals, having five in the first half and four in the second.
Both of the Vikings' shots on goals came from freshman forward Caroline Sjøstedt in the 22nd minute and freshman midfielder Maja Applequist and the end of the 84th minute.

North Park continues their conference play this weekend traveling to Bloomington to take on the Titans from Illinois Wesleyan on October, 14th. Kickoff is set for 1:00 PM.
