Titans Down Vikings on Saturday

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. -- The North Park women's soccer team reached 20 shots in a 1-0 loss to Illinois Wesleyan on Saturday afternoon. The Vikings put seven shots on frame but, unfortunately, their scoreless streak has reached six games.

North Park's junior forward Kaia Randklev had a shot on goal for North Park in the 15th minute that was saved in the lower right part of the goal. IWU followed up with a five unanswered shots before the Titans' Audrey Hofstetter found the back of the net in the 27th minute.

Despite an onslaught of shots from the Vikings, including 16 in the second half to IWU's 3, this score wouldn't change for the next 62 minutes.

Junior midfielder Nora Vangsnes led NPU with six shots and two on frame. Randklev also had a pair sent in the direction of the net.
