CHICAGO, Ill. -- The North Park women's soccer team could not get the offense going in a 1-0 loss to Dominican University on Monday night.
Dominican marked its one and only goal in the sixth minute, heading a free kick in. The Stars controlled the offense for the majority of the game, firing 21 shots including nine on frame. The Vikings were held to just five shots and two on goal off the feet of Agnes Back and Megan Tauscheck.
Philemina Toca saw her first 90 minutes in goal, saving eight shots from a quality Dominican barrage.
The Vikings are next in action on Saturday, October 1, at Millikin University. Kickoff is set for 1pm.
