CHICAGO, Ill. – North Park University head men's basketball coach Tom Slyder has resigned from his role after 10 seasons with the Vikings.

"I have accepted Coach Tom Slyder's resignation," said John Born, Director of Athletics. "We thank him for ten years of service and dedication to North Park, and wish him well in his future endeavors. We will immediately begin a nationwide search for his replacement."

Slyder was named the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Co-Coach of the Year after the 2016-17 season after guiding North Park to an overall record of 18-8 (11-5 CCIW) and a league co-championship.
