CHICAGO, Ill. – The North Park University women's volleyball team opened College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) play on Wednesday night, falling to visiting North Central College 3-1.
The Vikings felt the energy from a packed NPU Gym early in the night, dominating the Cardinals in the opening set by a score of 25-11. Through their first 25 points, North Park attacked at a .296 clip while holding North Central to .003.
Unfortunately, this was the only set win of the night for the Vikings. In the next three sets, North Central would hold the Vikings to .026, .079, and .069 attacking percentages on the way to a 3-1 win.
