Rock Island, Ill. – The North Park men's volleyball team fell by a score of 3-0 (25-15, 25-23, 25-22) to Augustana University on Saturday afternoon at the Carver Center.
The Augustana offense was clicking from the start as home Vikings hit .462 in the first set compared to just .083 for NPU. In the second set, a kill by Erik Bullard put North Park up 6-4, and soon after two straight kills from Quinn Robinson put the visiting Vikings up 8-6. A kill from Armando Quinones leveled the score at 23-23 late in the second set, but Augie would score the final two points to take the second set 25-23. Emmanuel Eugene had a big kill midway through the third set, but it would be Augie finishing a little bit stronger to take the set and the match.

The Vikings (7-6, 4-5 CCIW) are back home Monday as they take on Loras College (4-5, 3-4 CCIW) on Wednesday, March 24th. That game will start at 7 p.m. at NPU Gymnasium.
