Box Score Kenosha, Wis. – The North Park men's volleyball team battled hard with a highly ranked Carthage squad on Wednesday night, but the No. 3 Firebirds were too much and defeated the Vikings by a score of 3-0 (25-17, 25-7, 25-14)
A kill by Erik Bullard early in the first set had the Vikings up 3-1 on the Firebirds but Carthage used an eight-point run to diminish any hopes of a North Park set win. The second set was similar, with North Park going up 2-1 on a Carthage service error, but the Firebirds used some more convincing runs to take the second set. The visiting Vikings had trouble getting on a roll in the third and fell in that one, cementing the final score to be 3-0 in favor of Carthage.
