DECATUR, Ill. – The North Park women's soccer team fell behind in the 26th minute Saturday afternoon versus Millikin University, and couldn't find equalizer in the final 64 minutes, resulting in a 1-0 final score in favor of the Big Blue.
The stats were nearly equal for both sides with each team notching five shots on goal, and Millikin finished with a slim 6-4 advantage in corners. The Big Blue's Amanda Noser found Hannah Henson just under a half hour into the contest and Henson found the finishing touch as she put the ball into the back of the net for the lone score of the game. Freshman keeper Emily LaSalle finished with four saves, while Ida Elise Hjelle led the Vikings with four shots, two of them being on frame.

The Vikings (3-9-1, 0-4 CCIW) have their penultimate home game on Saturday, October 16th when they take on the Cardinals of North Central (8-4-1, 3-0 CCIW). Kickoff is at 5 PM at the Holmgren Athletic Complex.
