Vikings Blanked by Bluejays

ELMHURST, Ill. – The North Park University women's soccer team was held scoreless by the Elmhurst College Bluejays on Saturday night, falling by a score of 3-0 at Langhorst Field.

The Vikings were held to just two corner kicks and as many shots in the first half while the Bluejays' Gabby Ketola marked the lone first-half goal in the 15th minute.

Elmhurst would go on to score goals in the 68th minute and 81st minute. The Bluejays were able to send 17 shots in, with 10 going on frame. Theresa Weiss was called on to get the start in net, saving seven shots in the conference match.


What's Next?

North Park (3-7-1, 0-2-0 CCIW) hosts Wheaton College this coming Wednesday, October 6, during homecoming week. Kickoff at Holmgren is set for 7 p.m.
