KALAMAZOO, Mich -- The No. 18 North Park University men's soccer team fell to the Kalamazoo College Hornets, 0-1, at McKenzie Field on Saturday.
Neither the Vikings nor the Hornets tallied a goal in the first half as the match was held scoreless through the first 45. The Vikings out-shot the Hornets 6-5 in the first half while goalkeeper Mathias Stulen saved three shots for the Vikings.
In the second half, the match seemed to be heading to overtime until Kalamazoo's Tony Yazbeck score a late 89th minute goal to break the tie and, ultimately, secure the win.
Final: Kalamazoo 1, North Park 0
