WATERTOWN, Wis. -- The North Park University men's volleyball team fell to the Maranatha Baptist University Sabercats, 1-3, on Friday night.
The Vikings jumped ahead with a 25-22 victory in the first set, posting a .333 hitting percentage with a match-high 16 kills along the way.
However, the Sabercats went on to take the next three sets (25-22, 25-17, 25-17) as they carried a .349 hitting percentage in four sets.
Recently experiencing an upward spike in their blocking total, the Vikings struggled in tonight's match, posting just one in four sets.
The Vikings were able to mark 47 assists and carried a solid .238 hitting percentage in the loss.
