KENOSHA, Wis. -- The North Park University men's volleyball team traveled to Kenosha, Wisconsin on Saturday, February 2, falling to the #2 Carthage College Red Men in straight sets.
The Vikings played the Red Men tough, marking 18 or more in each set played. The Vikings improved in every set, raising their hitting percentage of .107 in the first set to a .300 hitting percentage in their final set.
Despite the obvious height disadvantage, North Park still powered 30 total kills, a block, and a pair of service aces.
Carthage wound up taking the victory 3-0, but North Park, especially for a first-year program, had an incredible showing.
