DECATUR, Ill. -- The North Park University women's volleyball team fell to the Millikin University Big Blue in straight sets on Wednesday night (25-13, 25-19, 25-17).
Millikin hit an astounding .419 in the first set of the night, while holding North Park to .000. Additionally, the Big Blue utilized three blocks and 16 kills to earn a 25-13 set win.
In the second set, Millikin nearly duplicated their first-set performance with 14 kills, three more blocks and three service aces. The Vikings marked three blocks and three service aces of their own, but fell in the set, 25-17.
The Big Blue would finalize their win with a 25-17 third-set victory. In the set, Millikin hit .345 with 13 kills, holding North Park to .036.
