The North Park women's volleyball team won all three of their matches this past weekend, dropping only one set at the 2018 North Park Quad.
September 7th – North Park 3, Knox 1
In their first match of the North Park Quad, the North Park Vikings took down the Knox Prairie Fire, dominating in every category. Most notably, the Vikings marked 61 kills, 9 aces, 7 blocks, and 58 assists.
After a relatively close first set with the Vikings leading 10-6, the North Park attack would mark 9 straight points to capture their first set of the tournament.Â
In their next, and closest, set of the match, the Vikings were knotted up with the Prairie Fire at 24 all. However, a kill by Kelly Clinton and a service ace by Kenzie Krueger earned the Vikings a second set win.Â
North Park would go on to drop the third set 25-18, but bounce right back in the fourth, taking the final set 25-15.
September 8th – North Park 3, Anderson 0
On day two of the NPU Quad, the Vikings would top the Anderson Ravens in straight sets.
The Vikings forced a lopsided attack percentage, hitting at .232 while their opponents mustered just .092.
The standout statistic: aces. North Park marked a season-high 14 aces. Lauren Wiltsie marked the most with four and Niki Ahlstrand and Bianca Tomuta followed closely with two each.
September 8th – North Park 3, Illinois Tech 0
To cap off the tournament, North Park would take their final match of the weekend against Illinois Tech in straight sets (25-15, 25-14, 25-13).
Kajsa Meyer was the lead table-setter, marking 32 assists on the match. Niki Ahlstrand added an individual season-best 14 kills and 4 blocks.

- Niki Ahlstrand totaled 30 kills on the weekend, including a match-best 14 against Illinois Tech.
- Lauren Wiltsie marked 38 kills in three matches and marked a match-best 4 aces against Anderson University.
