CHICAGO – The North Park University men's soccer team improved to 7-1 on Wednesday night, defeating the University of Dubuque 1-0 at Oyen Field.

The Vikings had a chance to get on the board early in the match.  A minute in, off a foul by Dubuque, sophomore Peder Olsen fired a 25-yard shot that was saved by diving goalkeeper Brandon White, keeping the match scoreless.

North Park marked in the 19th minute when freshman Joachim Hoff connected on his fourth goal of the season off an assist by senior forward Jason Gonzalez to make the score 1-0 Vikings.
