The North Park football team hosted the fifth-ranked Cardinals of North Central College on Saturday afternoon, dropping the contest by a score of 0-35.
North Park had an early chance just five minutes into play. Following a punt from Gary Anish, Stephan McCree would recover a Cardinal fumble and takeover at their opponents' 14 yard line. Unfortunately, the Vikings would lose possession on a fumble of their own to give North Central the momentum.
After the first quarter, both teams were scoreless.
In the longest drive of the game, the Cardinals would utilize 8 minutes and 47 seconds of possession time to go 91 yards for the first 7 points of the game.
The Cardinals would go on to mark another touchdown in the second quarter when quarterback Rutter found Kamienski for a 12 yard touchdown.
Unfortunately, the Vikings were not able to get on the board and fell to the Cardinals 0-35.
