CHICAGO – The North Park University men's soccer team picked up its third consecutive victory knocking off the Albion Britons 3-1 at the Holmgren Athletic Complex on Wednesday.
The Vikings connected on the lone goal in the first half. At the 22nd minute, sophomore Shatil Khoury ripped a top-shelf goal behind Britons' goalkeeper Maximillian Loria making the score 1-0. On that goal, sophomore Peder Olsen notched his first point of the season with the assist.

North Park came out firing at the start of the second half. In the 47th minute, freshman Joachim Hoff, off a cross from sophomore Erik Lundeen, scored his second goal of the season making the score 2-0 Vikings. Immediately after, sophomore Alex Spratte put the Britons on the board closing the gap to 2-1. About 25 seconds later, Olsen scorched a line drive goal off an assist by Khoury which grew the Vikings lead to 3-1.
The stout defense by North Park only allowed the Britons to scatter three shots on goal as Edin Sabovic stopped a pair in his second start of the season. Conversely, North Park tallied 20 shots in the match. Freshman Deni Cresto led NPU with five shots and Olsen was close behind with four shots.
