Following their prestigious game against the University of Chicago Maroons, the North Park men's soccer team took down the Aurora Spartans 2-1 on Tuesday night.
The Vikings were first to mark when Shatil Khoury found the back of the net for his first goal of the year, off a through ball from freshman Joachim Hoff.
The Khoury goal would be the lone mark in the first half. as ten other shots fell by the wayside.
After one half of play: Spartans 0, Vikings 1
Aurora would even up the score in the 60th minute when a Collin Foreman penalty kick, that was initially saved by sophomore keeper Mathias Stulen, bounced out for Foreman to finish the job.
However, with 11 minutes left in the contest Shatil Khoury marked his second goal of the game, earning the Vikings their fourth win of the season.

Yet again, the Vikings out-shot their opponent 14-10. Mathias Stulen notched another 90 minute game and saved 4 shots along the way.

North Park (3-1-0) continues its road trip on Saturday, facing the Stars of Dominican University for an afternoon contest in River Forest.
