The North Park University men's basketball team suffered a 113-153 loss to the Greenville University Panthers on Saturday night.
Greenville utilized their usual barrage of three-pointers and fast-paced defense to force 16 North Park turnovers while swiping 12 North Park passes. A pair of Panthers, Isiah Price and Marvin Bateman, carried double-digit points going into halftime as the Vikings trailed early at 50-76.
Leading the charge for the Vikings, All-Tournament selection Izaiah Sanders marked 6 boards and a game-leading 15 points in his first half of action. Sanders also tallied a perfect 7-7 from the charity stripe.
Unfortunately, the Panthers utilized 26 three-pointers, including 4 from Price, to mark a red-hot 153 points.
