CHICAGO, Ill. --
The North Park men's basketball team dropped a close 68-75 contest to the Simpson College Storm on Friday night.
Simpson surrendered 19 points off turnovers while the Vikings gave up just 2 in the same category. North Park's bench also carried 25 points in the contest, including 16 in the second half.
The Vikings held an early lead on the Storm, 35-32, entering halftime as junior forward Vegard Tangen tallied 8 while Izaiah Sanders and Scott Olsen teamed up for 6 each.
However, the Storm surged back in the second half, outscoring the Vikings 43-33. Simpson's Conor Riordan, Kyle Wagner, and Tyler Stumbo all notched double digit points in the back 20 minutes of play.
