WHEATON, Ill. --
The North Park football team hit the road on October 6th, falling to the 13th-ranked Wheaton Thunder 0-55.
Scoring double digits in every quarter, the Thunder offense combined for 596 yards, averaging 7.6 yards per play. Wheaton quarterback Curtis McWilliams tossed 5 touchdowns and completed 22 of 29 passes at his home field. Thunder receivers Tyler Pace and Spencer Peterson were on the receiving end of four touchdown passes, marking a pair each.
The North Park defense was able to force and recover a fumble, as well as pick off a Thunder pass.
However, the Wheaton defense held North Park to just 78 passing yards and forced 8 punts to walk away with a 55-0 victory.
