Led by a 12-kill performance from both Tyler Brown and Rachel Burkman, Illinois Wesleyan earned its 10th win of the season, a 25-19, 25-17, 25-16 victory over visiting North Park Tuesday night.

Despite the loss for the Vikings, both Karen Rosales (15) and Brittney Garcia (10) combined for 25 digs on the defensive end. Lauren Wiltsie added eight to go along with seven kills.

North Park built a 12-9 lead early in the second set behind a Garcia service ace and a kill from Wiltsie and later moved ahead 15-12 on a Kelly Clinton block, but IWU responded 9-1 scoring run to capture a 21-16 lead on a service ace. The Titans finished out the set with four-straight points.

Sarah Toth added five kills as did Niki Ahlstrand. Both Kajsa Meyer and Clinton totaled five digs each as well.

North Park (5-13, 0-2) returns home Tuesday when it hosts Wheaton College for a 7 p.m. match.
