Eric joined the North Park athletic training staff in August of 2009 as Assistant Athletic Trainer after completing a Masters of Education degree in Athletic Training/Higher Education at Plymouth State University in New Hampshire. He was promoted to his current position - Assistant Director of Athletics - Athletic Healthcare - in July of 2024.

Prior to his graduate studies he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training at Northern Michigan University in Marquette, MI, where he is originally from.  Since 2012 Eric has served as the Head Athletic Trainer at North Park, as well as the NCAA Athletics Healthcare Administrator.  In addition to overseeing the healthcare of all intercollegiate student-athletes, he provides care directly for the soccer programs and the baseball team. He is a preceptor for North Park’s athletic training students both in the clinic and the classroom, as he is an adjunct faculty member for practicum courses. Eric is an approved American Red Cross First Aid and CPR/AED Instructor, Level 1 SFMA-certified (Selective Functional Movement Assessment) and is FRCms-certified (Functional Range Conditioning Mobility Specialist).

He lives in Skokie with his wife, Shelly, and daughter, Ava.
