2013: Started in 37 of the 39 games he appeared in and had a team seventh-best .318 batting average…Connected for 42 hits, including six doubles…Drove in 22 runs and had 17 runs scored…Led the team with 292 putouts and carried a .991 fielding percentage, committing only three errors…Earned All-CCIW Second Team honors.

2012: Appeared in 23 games and made 12 starts as the team’s designated hitter…Led the team with a .426 batting average, connecting for 26 hits, including one double and two triples…Drove in 15 runs and had six runs scored.

High School: Was a three-year letter winner as a catcher and first baseman for the baseball team…Served as the team captain his junior and senior years and earned team MVP honors as well as the Mr. Offense Award his senior year…Was named to the All-Mid Suburban League Conference team his junior and senior seasons as well as the All-Area team, and earned MVP honors in the Cook County American Legion tournament in 2011…Led the team and the conference in batting average (.500), hits, home runs, RBI and slugging percentage (.809)…Was a member of the Elk Grove American Legion team that won the county title…Also led his high school team to a 2009 IHSA regional championship.
