North Park University Athletics

As a second-year graduate assistant for the Vikings’ tennis program, Goossens brings a wealth of knowledge to the team after being both a student-athlete and a coach at the NCAA Division I level. Prior to North Park, Goossens served as the graduate assistant coach at Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, Louisiana after an illustrious playing career at Cleveland State University where he achieved First Team All-Horizon League honors three-straight years (2010, 2011, 2012), and helped lead the Vikings to three conference championships. As a senior at CSU, Goossens served as a team captain and played at the No. 1 singles position.

His coaching background includes stops at the Tennisschool Jan Rook and Solid Tennis Academy as well as a student assistant coach at Cleveland State.
